Last updated: 23 October 2026

This policy explains how Ironpeak Digital LLC ("Ironpeak", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information of people in Australia who use the Zephyr app and website (zephyr.travel). We handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Server logsRequests our servers receive, which can include your account ID and locationTo keep Zephyr running, troubleshoot problems and protect against misuse

Location

Zephyr asks for location permission only while the app is in use. It doesn't request background location. Your navigation log stays on your phone and is never uploaded. When you plan or navigate a trip, your location and route points are sent to our servers to calculate routes, wind, weather and nearby information. We don't save them as a history. The exceptions are things you choose to save (Saved Routes and favourites) or submit (such as a hazard report), and short-term server logs (see section 8).

You can turn off location access at any time in your phone's settings. Navigation won't work without it.
